Poème en anglais : Toast to the wedding

Voici un de mes premiers poèmes écrit en anglais. Je l'ai écrit avec beaucoup de bonheur et de plaisir.

This is a happy day

A moment I will share everyday

It's truly wonderful to see friends and family

Gathered in honor of Keitaro and Harumi
I know many of you traveled great distances to be here today

In the couple's name, I'd like to thank you : Arigatô for this day

A year after I met your father in Japan

I gave birth to you and you became a beautiful woman

You are half French, half Japanese, you are our pride

Today our two countries gather for a while

Harumi, I, your mother

I raise my glass to you, my daughter

And to the man you have chosen

Here's a toast to you and your husband

Let your love endure beyond the last sunset

May your love fly across the desert

Here's a toast to Harumi and Keitaro

Here's to the bride, may you never feel sorrow

Here's to the groom, you opened your heart to Harumi

May you know what means love and sincerity

Here's to the groom, may you dry her tears and be good for your wife

May you live happy for the rest of your life

Here's to the bride, may you give life and find happiness

May you have love, health, and wealth

Here's a toast to say Bravo : Omedetô

Harumi, I am so proud of you,

I love you.
